NOW HE'S RECORD MAN

David Fred Smith, left, is known as Quilt Man, and now Record Man. He has won awards with his quilts, and since a story appeared in the Picayune Item about his passion for collecting vinyl records, he’s now become “Record Man.” He’s not the only one that collects old records. Dana Love does, too, and Love came across some 78 rpms of classical and religious music at Jacob’s Well and notified Smith. Now Smith is sorting and cleaning them so he can play them.
