A fleeing suspect Tuesday afternoon failed to elude capture and instead was involved in this accident on the north bound off ramp of exit 1 on Interstate 59. Preliminary reports state the unnamed driver of the vehicle, seen kneeling at left, was fleeing from Louisiana law officers when he attempted to leave the interstate but ended up wreaking his vehicle. Additional details will be released as they become available.
