Left from left: Terry “Tink” McQueen and his wife Lori hold a flyer which features their grandson, Landen Pellerano. The couple will be holding a benefit motorcycle show on Sunday, at the Fall Street Fair, with proceeds going to Pellerano and the Autism Awareness Foundation. He has been recently diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Oral Motor Dysfunction, Developmental Delay and Speech Delay. Registration for the show is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and costs $15. There will be Class Awards and Best of Show. There will also be a 50/50 drawing and hourly door prizes. Music will be provided by She & I Karaoke. “Tink” McQueen said, “Autism is a complex developmental disease and a child with it may process and respond to information in different ways. Typically they have difficulty in expressing themselves and may lack socially acceptable ways to interact with others. They may be non responsive to verbal cues. Anything we can do to help the medical field understand and treat this is a good thing.”
