The Nicholson Early Head Start building on U.S. Hwy. 11S was occupied last year. The other facility is across from the South Side Elementary School campus. School officials said it is possible the program could be cut some if the sequester takes effect on Friday. Officials said they won’t know until the next round of federal funding. The program is completely funded through federal money. There are no local funds used in the program.
