Fred Cruse Foundation delivers bicycles

The third annual Fred Cruse Foundation bicycle drive was able to provide over eighty bicycles for needy children in both Picayune and Pearl River Central Elementary schools. Fred Cruse Foundation board member Jerry Bounds said this year was a great success; he and is very proud of the community's efforts in coming together and making Christmas special for so many children. Bounds said efforts of Wal-Mart, Picayune and PRC athletes, as well as school superintendents made a large contribution toward getting the bikes to the schools and distribution. Shown right are individuals from PRC and Picayune Memorial High along with Wal-Mart employees who helped make the project a success.
