Pictured is the late Virgil Grant Stewart, who died serving his country during the Vietnam War. The F-4 jet he was flying in May of 1969 was hit, causing to eject near the northern border of North Vietnam. Before his death he sent his brother two handmade rifles made in Thailand. Those rifles were stolen in a recent burglary, but recovered through the hard work of a Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department detective.
