Picayune NJROTC Color Guard dominated at the Battle of the Ball competition this past Saturday. The Picayune Color Guard’s First Place victory won them the honor to perform at the Navy Birthday Ball, October 13, 2012, which will be held at the Marriott Hotel in New Orleans, La. The following cadets were a part of the First Place Color Guard: Commander: Cadet Lieutenant Kaitlyn Gauthier; Organizational Flag: Cadet Master Chief Jazmine Barr; Right Rifle Guard: Cadet Senior Chief Alex Cruz; Left Rifle Guard: Cadet Lieutenant Commander Jonathan Anderson. Special thanks to the following cadets for supporting this First Place victory: John Victory, Katelyn Anderson, Thailus Mitchell and Brandon Frierson.
