Justin Tabias Nixon was born March 12, 1989 to TaJuana Nixon-Smith in Picayune, Mississippi. He departed his earthly life on February 27, 2018.

He accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of Rev. Alex Wesco with Greater Emmanuel Baptist Church. Justin was very spiritual and into the word of God. He attended Picayune Memorial High School and Pearl River Community College. He had a passion for rapping and hanging out with his brother and friends.

Justin was preceded in death by his uncle Keith Nixon; grandparents Harvey Nixon and Mary & Willie Rice.

He leaves to cherish his memories: Two Daughters: Lavender So’Lei Nixon-Mark (Precious Mark) and Justyce Za’Nay Nixon-Burkett (Amanda Burkett); Mother: TaJuana Nixon-Smith; Step-father: Adonnis Smith; Brother: Joshua Nixon; Step-brother: Amah Bolden; Nephews: Joshua Nixon, Jr. and Jaylen Mark; Uncles: Meko Rice, Christian Nixon, Christopher Nixon, and Corrie Hinton; Aunts: Schawanda Nixon, Clarissa Ratcliff, and Sabrina Peters; Grandparents: Kenneth Nixon, Rosemary and Nathaniel Smith; Great Grandmother: Gladys Nixon; Great Aunts: Geraldine Tillman, Alfreda (Danny) Jackson; Great Uncle: Charles Rice, Patrick (Janice) Nixon; Special Aunts: Lucy (Clinton) Riley, Toni Watts, and Rose Nixon. Special friends: Jeremy McCastile, Corceiti Smith, Remodgeo Smith, Zack Ezell, Jamel Randolph, Brandon Hall, Cordelro Hall, Amah Bolden, Anthony Landor, and Kimlon White; A host of cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Greater Emmanuel Baptist Church for Justin T. Nixon age 28. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to service time. Interment will be in the Picayune Cemetery. Entrusted to Brown’s Funeral Home.
