Funeral Services for Jacob “Jake” Farron Moeller, age 18 of Picayune, Miss., who passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2014, will be held Saturday, July 19, 2014, at 4:00 pm at Union Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 19, 2014 from 2:00 pm until the 4:00pm service at Union Baptist Church.

Burial will be held in Skipper Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Pastor Bo Moeller, Bro. Danny Boudreaux, Elder Dewayne Long, Elder Gary Sumrall, and Elder Gerald Penton will officiate the services.

Jake was a native of Salem Community and accepted Christ at an early age. He was a Worship Leader and Leader in Missions and Youth activities at Union Baptist Church. Jake was a musician in his family’s Bluegrass Gospel Band, Shallow Creek. Being blessed with an incredible musical talent, he planned to follow his calling in Music Ministry. Jake was a Student at PRCC and a member of Salem Landmark Missionary Baptist Church. He had just completed a two week mission trip to Maine and Arlington, TX.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jewel Penton Jr.

Jake leaves behind his parents Farron Darris Moeller and Aleta Penton Moeller; his sisters, Laura White and husband Scott, Katy Smith and husband Sam; his brother, Bo Moeller and wife Colbi; his 2 nieces, Presley Moeller, and Harper Smith; his 6 nephews, Rhett and Eli White, Grant and Gray Smith, Cale and Case Moeller; his grandmother, Claudia Skipper Penton; his grandparents, Darris and Trissie Moeller; his girlfriend, Reagan Dougay; and many many friends and family.
