Barbara “Bobbie” Carbo Fricke, 71, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2013.

Beloved wife of Gene F. Fricke for 51 years. Loving mother of Gene P. Fricke (Kimberly), Michael P. Fricke and Norma Fricke Beverage (Luther). Grandmother of Taylor Fricke and Carson Beverage. Daughter of Celestine Duhe and the late Vernon Carbo. Sister of Norma C. Marcella (Ronald). Sister-in-law of George Fricke, Jr. and the late Edwin P. Fricke. Aunt of Troy Marcella (Laurie), Scott Marcella (Bea) Toni M. Hebert (Blaine), David Fricke and George Fricke III.

Mrs. Fricke was a member of the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Picayune for 10 years. She was an active member of St. Joseph the Worker Church, Marrero, La., for 25 years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Friday, October 4, 2013 at 11 a.m. Interment, Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery, Westwego, La. Parlors will be open Friday from 9-11 a.m.
